I did Samara's grandma's invitations a while back, and no doubt Samara is just as gorgeous as her nanna- those eyes say it all...! Samara is a cool little rock-chick so we needed something a bit different. In the end mum and dad went for the bottom one; a fresh and funky retro-inspired design.

Cim's Hens Night
We are doing a high-tea in a fancy hotel for Cim's Hen, and most of mothers group will be there. I stole this excellent photo of her kissing the champers from her Facebook-site. I hope she doesn't mind....
Paul's 30th birthday
Because I don't know Paul I had to design two vastly different invitations so he could choose what suited him best. One is gritty, old-fashioned and retro in complete harmony with the old photo, while the other is more sleek, modern and very clean.
Liam's Naming Day
Two very different styles. The parents went for the top one, one of my most-loved designs. The beauty of this design and lay-out is that you can use more pictures, and involve many colours and symbols without ending up with a cluttered invitation.
Ben's bright birthday
Two very different looks depending on colour-scheme, although the design is the same.
My wedding stationary
I am getting married in early 2009 and have done my own invitations. I wanted a modern, clean design with hints of Art Deco for a classic feel.

Gorgeous Fee is soon 30!
How to make a fantastic bridal-portrait less bridal? Remove the jewellery and the veil and apply slightly darker lipstick in Photoshop, of course. Fee wanted a romantic, elegant invitation. Inspired by the venue I gave it a rustic look by using a soft texture. And what a beautiful birthday-girl this is!

A baby shower with a twist
This mother-to-be didn't want the cute, traditional pink or baby blue invitation, she wanted something different with a bit of edge to it. I used an old photo of her mum and incorporated it into the design, turning it into a pastiche of the 50s housewife combined with some 80s glam. Something different indeed!

A funky bride and her hens...
Mandy is a music-loving bride with a love for anything funky and retro. With her hens night coming up, she wanted an invitation that reflected her planned girls-weekend in Melbourne; due to be filled with fun, bars, clubs, drinks and live music. Have a great time and enjoy your last night as a single woman!

A baby-brother enters the world...
Three different designs for this birth-announcement. To get the 3 different photos in the second draft to work well together, I had to turn them all into sepia. This way you avoid the clutterly look that multiple photos often can give. I also added some texture for a soft, gentle effect.

Beautiful chubba Callum!
An apple-green and navy-blue creation for a happy little beach-boy! This invitation captured the fun and joy in the photo of Callum in the cutest, most boyish way possible.

Thank You's for the beautiful twosome
Dom sent me a beautiful photo, all I had to do was some noise-reduction and removal of little red scratches on the girls' faces, and after I slightly lightened and blurred the background we had the ultimate family-shot for a thank-you card! I kept the style classic, girlie and clean with elements from Art Deco.

A sage-green baptism invitation
Oliver's mum showed me some photos of the outfit she got him for the big day, and it was a cream- and sage coloured little suit. They wanted an invite that reflected the same colours, as this would be the colour-scheme for the ceremony and party. I will also design a matching baptism candle-wrap and a photo-based Thank You-card at a later stage.
A teddy bear picnic for two beautiful girls
A teddy bear picnic for the two gorgeous girls Macy and India, had to be girlie and pink of course. I made one classic style card, and another one with a more contemporary design. Both designs incorporated fun and happy teddy-bear illustrations to go with the photo.
