Emma is here!

Emma's mum wanted both Thank You-cards and a baptism-invitation, so I got to play around with some gorgeous photos. I was asked tod esign something similar to Ruby's baptism-invite from a few weeks back, so I kept within the same style, but changed the ornaments. For the Thank You-cards I did a traditional, ornamented pink creation (middle) and a contemporary photo-card (bottom) with art deco-inspired type.

Mish has had her baby girl!

Awww; I've said it before and I'll say it again: its hard to fail when you have a beautiful newborn to incorporate into the designs... Kiara is an absolute stunner, big congrats to you Mish- well done! Kiara's mum wanted vintage and pink, so she choose the top one. However, I couldn't help but trying out some new style-ideas, and developed a checkered contemporary design while I was at it.

59 years older than my average customer...

 

I have had a lot of fun with this job, as the client (daughter of the birthday girl) mentioned things like glamour, style, elegance and Air India in the 70's. I cleaned up the original photo and created a lush and ornamental invitation. I love the photo, how stunning is Ilka?

A little girl has arrived...

Another design where I tried to get a vintage look by the use of colours, fonts and floral filigrees . I love the name Olivia May, and thought an "old-fashioned" look would suit. Both designs are the same, but in different colours.

Thank you, Special Care...

Max and Henrik arrived 6 weeks early a year ago, and the wonderful staff in the SCN at both Mercy Hospital and Birrallee made sure our little boys were in good hands. We will never forget the care our boys received. Now that they have turned one, I thought it would be nice to send the nurseries a card to let them know we appreciate what they did for us, and to show them how big our little men have grown.

How lucky am I for getting to work with these gorgeous little beauties? Madison and Isabelle are true girlie-girls, so I was going heavily for the pink. Their mum provided me with a wonderful photo, and I decided to turn it slightly "vintage" to create a classic, romantic look. While they are both feminine designs, the top one is contemporary, while the bottom one is more old-fashioned with its floral swirls. I love both styles, and luckily mum instantly loved the bottom one. Good choice!

Little Max has arrived into the world!

Who can resist a photo of a sleepy newborn? Not me, that's for sure! And what a lovely name (in case you don't know, one of my sons are called Max as well)! I went for a calm, blue look while trying to bring some masculinity into the designs. Max's mum went for the bottom one, which also happen to be my favourite.
